Shockley Honda
Summary
The Shockley Honda Facility was a renovation of an existing facility required by Honda of North America in their efforts to create a standardized appearance of their dealerships.
Description
Work included renovation of the interior showroom area, sales offices, service center, customer waiting, accessory sales area, administrative offices, extensive alterations to the garage and maintenance/service areas and reconfiguration of site to accommodate traffic flow.
BFM’s effort was completed in conjunction with Morgan-Keller Inc. of Frederick, Maryland in a design/build joint effort.
Project Special Considerations:
The project had to be designed addressing the phasing of the work so that the dealership and garage services remained in operation during construction.
