Capabilities
Bushey Feight Morin Architects' work is heavily supported by Computer
Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) technology and computer programs.
BFM has recently upgraded their CADD Network system with a multiple
station setup with central file server and modem access to allow
for quick, accurate input of various components of information and
sharing of data with outside consultants. This technology produces
work that is consistent, economical and easily revisable and ensures
that projects will move swiftly through all developmental stages
and are completed accurately and on time.
Bushey Feight Morin Architects Inc., utilize AutoCAD 2002 as their
drafting format. Via the Internet, BFM and their consultants can
transfer drawing files on an as needed basis. BFM has developed
it's own layering system based upon the AIA's layering recommendations.
The BFM layering frormat permits us to be more detailed in the identification
of various drawings and components. Specifications are produced
using the CSI Master Specifications program.
